TEETH )poem(
When the wind blows like this, I am worried that our house will blow away and that we will blow away.
I am worried that the tree will fall and our house will get crushed.
I am worried that the tree will fall and I love that tree.
When the wind blows, it feels like my heart escaped and ballooned into a great sail and all the world can hear me wailing.
So what? To the world, the sound of my wailing is a tiny drop in the ocean of many wails, and my boat is a tiny one in an ocean of many sails. My tears are not shocking because they are just tiny teeth in a big bowl of tears. Who is not afraid of my fear has been to dark places. Who is afraid of my fear may have been to dark places. We have been to dark places, and not all of us have come back. I have been to the dark places and not all of me is back. Back where?
Is it true, you want to repeat your suffering? They told me, you doomed yourself. I am clinging to an old version of me. A fighter, not a lover. Hilarious. A thunderbolt in seach of peace?? And shards of experience keep turning up in my doorway like new post every time, but always the same letter. A demand. It's time to tell your stories.
All I want is to be seen.
All I want is to hide.
I want to be funny but I want to mourn.
